8th January 2016 10:07 AM
Net Entertainment and Universal’s Guns N’ Roses slot will finally be released to the public a year after news broke that it was in development. The game is pencilled-in to hit casinos on Thursday 21st January, just weeks after the band on which it is based announced they would be staging a comeback at the Coachella music festival in April.
The reels will feature images of the band, including guitarist Slash who is rumoured to be returning to the real-life lineup, with the soundtrack featuring some of their massive hits, such as Sweet Child O’ Mine and November Rain. The action happens on an open-air stage in front of a throng of excited rock fans and could see players land random multipliers of up to 10x. The reels flame as they spin and videos of the band in action are played to celebrate notable wins.
The Guns N’ Roses slot will feature a multi-award bonus wheel, in the guise of an LP on a record player of course, offering players a host of potential goodies including free spins and entry to the Crowd Pleaser bonus game. Fans will be able to spin the reels wherever they are, thanks to the game being created in the NetEnt Touch mobile platform, meaning it will scroll smoothly on smartphone, tablet and desktops.
